Advent magic on site and live in online stream (depending on applicable corona rules):

The 27th BMW Advent Benefit Concert will take place on site on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast as a livestream from the Cuvilliés Theater of the Residenz. As every year, the Bavarian State Orchestra will create a wonderful musical program and enchant the audience*. If the official requirements and the infection situation allow it, we will open the doors of the Cuvilliés Theater under consideration of a comprehensive hygiene and security concept.

kbo Children's Center Munich - Department "Hearing - Speech - Cochlear Implants (CI).

All proceeds from the concert this year will go to the 'Hearing - Speech - Cochlear Implants (CI)' department of the kbo Children's Center in Munich, where children with severe hearing loss or hearing impairment receive specialized treatment.

Since 1996, world-class musicians have joined forces with the BMW Munich branch to support social projects. With its 27-year tradition, the BMW Advent Benefit Concert is now one of the cultural highlights and most recognized charitable events in Munich. With the help of our loyal guests and partners, we have collected over 3 million euros for social projects in Munich to date. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this! This successful Advent tradition will also be continued in 2022: on site at the Cuvilliés Theater as well as a free livestream for contemplative moments at home.

Support where it is needed.

All proceeds and donations from the concert will be donated in full to projects supporting disadvantaged children and young people in Munich. Every year the recipients and projects are selected with great care in cooperation with our patron, Princess Ursula of Bavaria.

Classical music – a bridge between the generations.

Classical music brings people together. During the Christmas season in particular, it spreads a special atmosphere of festivity, warmth and wellbeing. We are proud to have the support of our partner, the Bavarian State Opera – one of the world’s leading opera houses.

The Advent Benefit Concert offers double benefits: All our guests and spectators benefit from enjoying a concert with incredible artists that rings in the upcoming Christmas season with music and song. But first and foremost, the concert will benefit the disadvantaged children and teenagers in Munich that are supported by the proceeds.
